67th IAA Commercial Vehicles

Transporters, busses and trucks – commercial vehicles are an essential part of our lives. Nowadays, we can choose from many goods worldwide, which are delivered directly to our home. This would not be possible without freight transport and logistics. And it is commercial vehicles that are heading for the last mile. With a share of over 70 percent in transport performance, they form the backbone of our transport and economic system. At the same time, commercial vehicles serve as providers and chauffeurs. They dispose of our waste, help with removals and rescue operations and drive children to school or us to work. Commercial vehicles keep our everyday lives running, so to speak.

On the occasion of the 67th edition of the IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hanover, which takes place from 20 to the 27 September 2018, the question arises as to what the future of commercial vehicles will look like. After all, the whole commercial vehicles industry is on an innovative course. As in many other industry sectors, the focus is on topics like automation and networking, safety, environmental protection, e-mobility and new concepts for logistics and transport in the city of the future.

The IAA Commercial Vehicles takes place in Hanover every two years, and is the world’s leading trade fair for transport, logistics and mobility. It offers a unique cross section of the entire value chain in the industry – from vehicles to transport and logistics, and from manufacturers to the many medium-sized suppliers.

We from GF Casting Solutions look forward to welcoming you at EDAG Engineering GmbH’s exhibition stand B33 (hall 13).
